Forgot your password
- On the «Sign in» screen, enter your «Email or mobile number».
- Under «Sign-in method», choose «With a one-time code» and press «Send me a code».
- Enter the «Sign-in code» you received by email or WhatsApp, and sign in.
If there is no code option, your company has chosen «Password only». In that case talk to HR or the system admin at your company to sort out a way in.
The code didn't arrive
- Wait a minute: the code arrives within a minute at the email or WhatsApp on your account.
- Check your email's spam folder.
- Make sure you typed the same email or mobile that is on your account. Mobiles go in international format, like +963…. Typo? Press «Change email or phone».
- Press «Send a new code». A new code goes out at most once a minute, and the one before keeps working. Each code is valid for 10 minutes.
- To protect accounts, Diwan never says whether an account exists for that email. If nothing arrives after all this, the email or mobile on your account is probably different from what you are typing: ask HR.
The second-step code didn't arrive
On the «Two-step verification» screen, change the «Verification method»: use the «Authenticator app» if you set one up, or try «Email». See two-step verification.
The account is locked
After 5 wrong attempts in a row (password or code), the account locks for a while: one minute, then two, then 4, then 8, up to 15 minutes at most. Wait and try again, or ask your company's system admin to «Unlock» it under «Users & access → Users».
Tip
On a phone, employees stay signed in for a long time, so you don't need to sign in every day. If your phone is lost, tell HR right away.
