You can record your arrival and departure from your phone: in the Diwan Android app, or in the browser at your company's address. Punches are kept even when there is no internet.
Before your first punch
- Your account must be linked to your employee file. If you see «Your account is not linked to an employee», talk to HR.
- Sign in once while online. After that you can punch even without the internet.

Steps
- Open Diwan and press «Clock in» (from «My day»).
- The first time, it asks «Record your location?». Diwan records where you are at the moment you punch only, never at any other time. Choose «Allow location» or «No, without location».
- Press «In» when you arrive and «Out» when you leave. The button Diwan expects is the filled one.
- You see «Saved ✓» with the time, and below it «Arrived», or «Will arrive when the internet is back» if you are offline. There is nothing else to do; it goes by itself.
Other ways, depending on your company
- QR code: if there is a screen at the entrance with a changing code, press «Punch with QR» and point the camera at it.
- With a photo: if your company asks for a photo with punches, turn on «With a photo» before you punch.
- Kiosk or fingerprint device at the office: those don't need your phone at all.
If something goes wrong
- «Saved without your location»: allow location in the browser or phone settings so the next punch has it. If it keeps happening, try outside or turn on GPS.
- Punched away from the workplace? The punch is saved, but it goes to HR for review.
- Forgot to punch? Ask for a «Punch correction» from «Request».
